Reflect upon the statement, as health service manager of residential care facility, I agree that the impact of the current development to practice education in the health care sector is significant. As the part of health care, residential care is unavoidable not to face the same challenge. The relevant explanation and discussion will be outlined in this paper. There are three major issues identified in residential care section due to the current development, including limited clinical placement, shortage of mentors and supervisors and diversity of students/ trainees. Firstly, lack of clinical placement to accommodate the increased number of students is clearly indicated in the SA Health report (SA Health, 2014), apparently it is not only an issue within Australia but also other countries. - Government has provided sustainable access and funding for people to develop skills and knowledge to enrol the courses that are related to health care so as to relieve the pressure in workforce of health care.
